Job Coachin Hertford, East of England
Hertfordshire County Council are looking for Job Coaches to offer supported employment which is defined as high quality, personalised support for people with disabilities and disadvantages which enables them to seek, access and retain employment in the open labour market. The Job Coach role supports individuals to prepare for employment and to sustain employment once a job is secured.
You will provide appropriate guidance, training, and support to enable participants to maintain employment and employers to develop job opportunities within the workplace, in conjunction with the Employment Advisors and Employer Liaison Officers. The post holder will need to adopt a flexible working pattern to accommodate the working hours of the clients and will be based either within Step2Skills or in the Day Opportunities team.
