The Washington State Patrol provides critical public safety services in Washington State. The WSP Supply Section supports the agencies public safety mission by providing logistical  support to approximately 2,400 employees. This support includes procuring commodities, tracking agency assets and maintaining a warehouse with approximately $2 million in inventory of essential commodities including uniforms and ammunition. This position supervises three Warehouse Operator 3 positions. This position provides critical leadership in warehouse management. In order to advance the agencies mission this position requires an incumbent with superior planning, supervisory and organizational skills.
 Our new teammate will be able to:

  • Evaluate staff performance and provides ongoing feedback to help staff perform warehouse and asset inventory functions.
  • Initiate the progressive discipline process as needed to address staff performance issues in accordance with the agency’s corrective action policies and procedures.
  • Instruct staff in safety and compliance to ensure warehouse procedures are safe, efficient and up to date.
  • Meet with program supervisors and department managers at periodic staff meetings or as necessary.
  • Monitor and approves employee leave time. Ensures staff use correct codes when recording leave time in TAS.
  • Maintain approximately two million dollars of inventory including sensitive items such as
    weapons, ammunition and badges.


Required Qualifications: 

  • High School diploma or GED certificate.
  • Physical ability to do required work
  • Four years of progressive clerical or technical experience in a warehousing or logistics operation.
  • A minimum of two years supervisory experience.
