This position functions as a professional licensed transportation engineer specialist and subject matter expert regarding construction scheduling practices using Primavera P6 software and 3-dimensional data usage and collection. The position also manages region-wide construction contracts in coordination with Lansing central office and the Metro Region TSCs.
Responsibilities include reviewing and overseeing the development of complex construction schedules during the scoping, design and construction phases. Along with developing business procedures for incorporating 3-dimensional construction data into practice. This position also assists the Metro Region Engineer in the I-375 construction administration and
consultant contracts.

Required Education and Experience

Possession of a bachelor of science degree in engineering.

Four years of professional experience equivalent to a Transportation Engineer, including two years equivalent to a Transportation Engineer P11 or one year equivalent to a Transportation Engineer 12 or Transportation Engineer Licensed 12.

Additional Requirements and Information

Valid driver's license.

Possession of a registered professional engineering license as required by the State of Michigan.
