Kind of Work

Highly responsible professional work in the administration and oversight of specialized duties involving grants management, as well, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programmatic quality and performance improvement in a health setting. Duties include analyzing staff professional needs and performance, providing necessary training, writing reports, and related work as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administrations, or Human Resources from an accredited college or university.*
  2. Four (4) years of professional managerial, human resources management in a health care environment or performance management in any field.
NOTE:  Professional managerial experience is paid experience gained after the receipt of a Bachelor's Degree in a position that required a Bachelor's degree upon entrance.  Civil Service reserves the right to determine what is considered to be professional experience.
 NOTE: A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in public health, human resources, or business, a social science or a closely related field may be substituted for two (2) years of the required experience

Kind of Examination

A rating of training and experience, weighted 100%.  All related previous experience will be considered for qualification purposes; however, credit on the rating of training and experience will only be given for related experience gained within the last ten (10) years.
This is an original entrance examination.
