Job Description:

McDonald’s is seeking an expert hands-on Contract Corporate Recruiter to join our Global Talent team for an open-ended assignment.  You will be support full cycle recruitment for your assigned function within the company. You will report to the Talent Attraction Manager and collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization. To hire the best, we need the best. In this role, you will be supporting the McDonald’s Global Business Services & Finance Team.  

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers in developing recruitment strategies for current and future staffing needs primarily at the manager level and above
  • Implement necessary sourcing strategies to include a variety of methods of attracting top talent
  • Select and qualify candidates based upon skill, cultural, and motivational fit, utilizing behavioral based approach and screening criteria
  • Provide exceptional candidate care and ensure that candidates are effectively pre-screened before inclusion into the recruitment process
  • Maintain best practices throughout the client interview process by providing interview and assessment skills coaching and updates
  • Build business relationships with key Client Groups, candidates, and HR Business Partners
  • Research and recommend competitive compensation packages in partnership with the hiring managers and HRBPs
  • Possible oversight of a Jr. Recruiter and / or Candidate Experience Coordinator
  • Possible engagement on recruiting projects; such as an ATS implementation or new technology
  • Responsible for pulling reports and abiding to metrics and SLAs

Qualifications:

  • Full-cycle recruitment experience in either an agency or corporate environment (non-technical recruitment experience is preferred)
  • Experience recruiting for high volume projects ideally within transformation/implementation
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System and solid knowledge of technology (i.e. SmartRecruiters, Boolean search logic, Outlook, Web, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to thrive as an independent contributor working as a consultant to hiring managers
  • Ability to manage approximately 15-20+ requisitions concurrently, with solid attention to detail and prioritization.
